Dakar Car Rapide: du Plateau à Ouakam is the first documentary created by Senegalese filmmaker Mamadou Diouldé Diallo. The film not only looks into this model of public transportation that is unique to Senegal, but by extension gives the viewer a rare glimpse into a vibrant and rapidly changing urban Senegalese, and more broadly, African society.
