Gambian Opposition Plans To Spearhead Protest Marches; Court Grants Bail To Amadou Sanneh; Gambians Defy Tobaski Prayer Day Declared By Jammeh’s SIC!

Pa,

I was informed that the opposition leaders met last Monday and decided that they will brace up together to protest march, sit in, and fight any future arrest of any member of any party. Three opposition officials from different parties were present at the meeting. I will do further investigations to ascertain the above meeting which took place last Monday.

Gambia - Is Saul Badjie - Jammeh’s successor?

According to The Soldier, Saul Badjie is now head of the Government security apparatus.

Clearly, the Jammeh regime is entering into its final phase. The contestants to replace him are clearly identified by The Soldier. The question is who will emerge as the new ruler of Gambia? Will it be Saul Badjie or one of the others?

There is a strong possibility of a falling out of these individuals and a power struggle. The “gang of four” toppled the Jawara regime, but out of Yaya, Edward Singateh, Sanna Sabally, and Hydara, Yaya emerged as the eventual president. He did so by treachery, scheming and manoeuvrings.

Gambia 8 die as boat capsizes

Monday, October 14, 2013
Eight people are feared dead, with some of the bodies fished out of the water over the weekend, after a boat carrying nine people encountered stormy waves and capsized en route to Barra Thursday evening.

The dead included young adults, middle-aged and elderly people.

According to sources close to the Barra beach, the captain of the doomed boat, a young fisherman now held by police for questioning, had set sail that fateful evening to collect a relative from Banjul.

The same sources claimed that the boat was not one of the regular passenger boats now active in ferrying passengers across the strip, but was in fact a fishing boat.

The NIA's ARE PREPARING FALSE EVIDENCE AGAINST FATOU CAMARA; THREE PRISONERS ESCAPED FROM MILE 2; MANY TOP GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TO BE ARRESTED ON TOBASKI DAY!

Hi Pa,

It is me the undercover officer once again. Pa, all the so called big people and so called loyalists to Jammeh are now in problem. Jammeh is not a good partner. He can even jail his own mother just for power. Pa, you remember when Njogu Bah said the Jammeh should live for 900 years? Lol! Where is he now?

Pa, right now the NIAS are very busy making false evidence against the former Director of Press Fatou Camara. Some fake call printouts are to be prepared by Africell very soon… may be by Monday in connection to Fatou’s Africell line.

Pa, if Fatou Camara is not sentenced then she is the luckiest person on earth. All the false evidence is being coordinated by one Kissima Bojang. Jammeh has really disgraced Fatou Camara.

The information the Freedom Newspaper has published is top state secrets, which are only to be known by closest folks to Jammeh.

The ambassador of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to The Gambia has described the latter as his country’s strong and respectful cooperation partner in Africa, saying the two allies do not only maintain diplomatic relations but also oneness in their development endeavours.

His Excellency Samuel Chen was speaking last Thursday at the Penchami Hall of the Paradise Suites Hotel in Kololi, where his embassy hosted a reception to celebrate Taiwan’s 102nd National Day.

According to him, Taiwan is now sharing her experience with dozens of countries via hundreds of projects, including agriculture, technical support, medical assistance, capacity building and vocational training. “This is also exactly the assistance we have rendered to The Gambia in an effort to meet the target of the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals,” he remarked.
