Ousiananou Darboe Risks Facing Arrest Upon His Return To The Gambia From The US!

Jammeh is designing a counterintelligence scheme to have Lawyer Ousainanou Darboe arrested upon his return from his US trip. He is mad at Lawyer Darboe and his UDP supporters, who had taken part in the New York Demo which sends him holed up at the Carlton Hotel for hours for fear of his personal safety. Jammeh’s failed trip coincides with Darboe’s presence in the US. He is now blaming Darboe for the hostile reception he received while in New York.
It is highly rumored that Ousainanou Darboe would be arrested as soon as he lands at the Banjul International Airport. Jammeh has even asked his taskforce to start preparing the charges to be filed against Darboe. Mr. Darboe this is just a heads up. Your possible arrest is imminent. It being discussed in every corner of the country.
Jammeh has been misled by his useless NIA to make him believe that you are allegedly connected to what happened in New York. The NIA is trying to cover up its ass since they ignored earlier intelligence reports that Jammeh’s pending New York trip was going to be greeted with violence. They lied to Jammeh by assuring him that it was safe for him to leave Kanilai—only for Jammeh to be bullied and ridiculed by the protesters.
“ I was at a briefing and Darboe’s name came up. He is likely to be arrested upon his return. Jammeh wants to file all kinds of crazy charges against him. He wants to avenge what happened in New York. The agency had failed the President because earlier intelligence reports received suggest that Jammeh’s trip was going to be violent. If the agency had properly advised the President, he was going to be saved from the New York demo. The Directorate is now resorting to misleading him to believe that Darboe’s presence in the US might have triggered the protest. Through our own findings, we discovered that Darboe was from New York at the time of the protest. There is no evidence to that effect that Lawyer Darboe might have hands in the protest. There are dishonest agents here at the NIA cooking up allegations against the opposition leader. I have been to so many places in town and I heard people talking about the looming arrest of Darboe.. Mr. Darboe should alert his supporters before he lands into this country. There is a conspiracy reached to have him arrested,” said our source.
“ The soldier has been repeatedly writing on the Freedom Newspaper talking about an operation that was to be coordinated by Gambians in the US to have Jammeh bullied or captured. The NIA’S analysis section analyzed the soldier’s report. The Directorate dismissed the report as false. They said they thought that the soldier was just out to scare the President. Yankuba Badjie even called the report false. Based on this, the President was assured that it was safe for him to travel. It later turn out that the soldier’s reportage was factual. This was a major intelligence failure on the part of the NIA Directorate. Now they want to throw Darboe under the bus by falsely accusing him of instigating the protest,” the source said.
Commenting on the case of Amadou Sanneh and co, the NIA official said the case was a set up. He told the Freedom Newspaper that Mr. Sanneh and co were set up by the brother of one of the accused persons Malang Fatty.
"Malang Fatty’s brother is a “handler” for the NIA’s Political Division. He works for us. He spied for the agency. Malang’s brother supplied the intelligence that led to the arrest of Amadou Sanneh and three others. These people have not broken any laws. They are victims of set up. The President is using their case as a diversion. He wants to divert Gambians attention to pressing economic problems facing this country. One of our agents manages Malang’s brother, who is an informer to the NIA,"our source hinted.
Ousainanou Darboe could not be reached for comment at press time.
Meanwhile, one of our agents has embarked on a counter surveillance tradecraft by watching the NIA’S surveillance unit assigned to monitor Lawyer Darboe’s home. Our agent has reported that he has seen unnumbered tinted vehicles parked in front of Darboe’s house.
“Pa, please hide my identity. I am lawyer Darboe's …. but every day early in the morning till 12 noon; two tinted cars without number plates will be parked in front of Darboe’s compound since Monday up to date. I know they will arrest him. Hide my identity please,” said a source who spoke to this paper. The source reached out to us as soon as he read our story on Darboe's imminent arrest.
